Since having my eyes opened to using substances such as tea and wine as a painting medium, I have never looked back. However, I decided that it was time to paint something different with them, rather than portraits. The picture above shows the view you would see on White Horse Hill, named so because of the large chalk horse laid across its side. The chalk path you see is part of the horse itself, and to the left is the eye. Although you are not meant to walk across it, you will see many white footprints, from where walkers have stood on the eye and made a wish. It’s truly beautiful and well worth a visit, and I really hope that you do see the beauty of it in this painting.
